Traveling by raft through the turbulent waters of the Colorado River offers not only a close-up look but an exciting ride that National Geographic ranks in the top ten trips of the world. Education students and practicing teachers will come away with not only a deep understanding of the Canyon but with some practical ways to bring the experience back to their classroom. Students will earn 3 graduate credits in science education. Family and friends of participants are welcome to register for the trip without enrolling in the class.
All educators, teacher candidates, and companions are welcome. Special group rate available. Tuition for the graduate credits will be at a reduced rate of $125 per credit. For more information, please contact Michael Giamellaro, the course instructor.
