There are few ways to spend a day that are as enjoyable as rafting down a river through a beautiful canyon. The fresh air, warm sun, murmuring water, and extraordinary landscapes are at once refreshing and energizing.

We offer 1-day river trips in Utah on the Green River through Gray Canyon, and on the Colorado River through the Fisher Towers area near Moab. The trips begin at 9:00 am. and conclude about 3:00 p.m. We provide round-trip transportation from the meeting place in either Green River, Utah, or Moab, Utah, depending on which expedition you choose. We also furnish Coast Guard-approved life preservers, waterproof containers for cameras and other incidentals, and a delicious sandwich bar lunch.

During the day, we will stop to see ancient Anasazi and Fremont rock art panels. The beautifully executed paintings (pictographs) and incised illustrations (petroglyphs) are over a thousand years old. Many of them represent animals that we still see along the rivers today - bighorn sheep, mule deer, lizards, waterfowl, beavers, and various birds.

When its time for lunch, we pull into shore and set up our kitchen on a sunny sandbar beach. Before you know it, the crew has prepared an appealing array of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, and appropriate garnishes-everything you need to build a creative sandwich. Fresh fruit, salads, chips, cold lemonade round out the meal.

Both the Green River and the Colorado River include stretches of fun, yet modest rapids that are appropriate for families with younger children. For those who want a little more action, we recommend that you reserve a small paddle boat for your group. For the most exciting ride, you can paddle your own inflatable kayak. Even the smallest rapids take on grand dimensions when you face them eye-to-eye!

Whether you decide to raft through the castle cliffs of Gray Canyon or the red rock walls of the Fisher Towers area, you will see some beautiful country, and you will have a lot of fun! Daily river trips begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude around 4:00 p.m. Both the Green River and the Colorado River have fun, but modest, rapids. We provide a delicious lunch and assorted non-alcoholic beverages. Round-trip transportation from the meeting place in Moab or Green River, Utah, is included in the price.
