A Desolation Canyon River Trip on the Green River offers an option for everyone. Inflatable kayaks or "duckies" are an exciting option in Desolation Canyon. Rapids that are mild in a rowing raft are "wild" in an inflatable kayak! We meet in Green River, Utah, the evening before departure. On the day the trip begins, there is a scenic charter flight 100 miles up the Green River to our put-in at Sandwash. The Desolation Canyon expeditions generally end in the early afternoon on the last day.
